At the end of last year, Megan shot a beautiful series of images focusing on The Mongolian Eagle Festival and the lives of the Kazakh eagle hunters. A mix of tradition and spectacle, drunken spectators scrambling for safety as the riders would often charge the audience on horseback!
Camel racing was also a subject. The two-humped Bactrian camel is native to the Mongolian steppes and Gobi desert.
